When we decided we would like to start breeding, we were going to keep a male kitten from our Queens 1st litter, as a pet. We then decided it would be nicer to have a litter brother so they could grow up together and thank goodness we did, Alfarin is absolutely wonderful, a real joy.
When Alfarin was born, his breeders decided that he looked like an Otter!! Yes, the name has stuck, especially as his pedigree name ends in 'Lote' which is pronounced like 'Otter'.
'Otter' is every bit as gorgeous as his sister and seeing him grow from 4 days old has been wonderful. He bombs around the house like a nutter. It took him all of 5 minutes to settle in when we brought him home. He is a very loving little chap, happy to curl up on your lap when he is sleepy.

Now a year old, Otter is growing into a fine young man. He is a very determined boy, who doesn't think he is great, he knows it!!! He loves his cuddles, when he wants (even if it's not convenient ;-). He is very funny, a little bit stubborn and absolutely gorgeous. ''Huge Character' goes someway to describing Otter.
